Anew vs. Olay - A Matter Of Price
By L. Shirley
"ANEW CLINICAL Line and Wrinkle Corrector" by Avon does a good job of deep moisturizing, making your skin look and feel much smoother, somewhat firmer, and maybe even a little younger. This 1.7 oz jar though is way over priced, compared to others that work just as good. I found that Olay Total Effects Night Firming Cream for Face & Neck - 1.7 fl oz was just as effective and even lasted much longer, and check out the deal at this time. I had to use more of the "Anew" to spread on my face and throat, and went through the Anew, much more quickly then the same amount of Olay. The "Olay" lasted nearly 3 months, using it every day.
I would probably stay with the Anew if it wasn't so expensive(and would even had rated it 5 stars for effectiveness), as Avon also included other little complimentary goodies in my order, that I am using. Short of any kind of invasive procedure,I found both Anew and Olay work best, so for the price I'll stick with the Olay right now.
Happy Shopping.....Laurie

Beats higher end skin care
By Mrs. C
I have tried the Olay Pro-X and loved it for years; it saved my Mary-Kay-ruined skin. Then I tried the Anew Wrinkle Corrector and no matter what else I try to stray away to, I always come back to the Avon Anew products.
I have tried just about everything (except that $200 La Mer LOL) and nothing is any better than the Anew. It especially makes my neck skin look soft, smooth and hydrated. I use retinoids and Finacea so my skin can get pretty dried out and flaky, but if I use the Anew or their new Genics, my face is smooth and not flaky when I wake up in the morning. It feels nice and hydrated, it doesn't get that crepey look any more. (I'm probably a LOT older than the folks who reviewed this and it didn't 'do' anything for them...because they have young skin already)
I've pretty much given up on ever finding anything I like better than the Anew line, I try every new high-end product as it is launched and still I go back to Anew. I'm not even an Avon fan but when you find something that works, you stick by it until you find something better! I don't foresee anything better right now. (I just tried and returned Lancome's new Genifique, a direct competitor of the Genics from Avon....sorry Lancome, I gave you a whole month to dazzle me...Ditto for Estee Lauder serum....)

great product, good value, won't break the bank
By Megan, FL
I was skeptical of this product and always worry about creams making me break out. I am 34 and still have very oily skin, but this product has not given me any pimples and has absolutely improved the texture and overall smoothness of my skin. it smells great is lightweight and is absorbed quickly. It tingles a bit, but i guess that means it is working. I highly recommend it, what a great value. I use it with the avon anew eye cream too.
