Mask helps soothe eyes & helps with falling asleep

My son lives in Japan and swears by these. He sent me a package & I'm now addicted to them! The Japanese use these masks for daytime naps and falling asleep at bedtime. The masks generate air-activated heat which is just enough to feel very warm but not burn. The warmth has helped me fall asleep faster because I'm focused on the warm feeling. My son also swears that the mask has helped his dark circles lighten up. I've also noticed that my 'crows feet' around my eyes has seemed to have softened. If nothing else, you WILL enjoy a soothing feeling while falling asleep.

This product is great! In spite of no English instructions

My opthamologist recommended that I apply hot compresses to my eyes to solve some of the issues of incomplete lubrication of my eyes. The recommendation was that I wet a rag with water as warm as possible, and apply the rag to my eyes for 10 minutes, several times a week.

Applying compresses is a messy and awkward procedure. The rag drips on clothes and furniture - and the timing is difficult. And the rag cools off during the 10 minutes.

The Kao Megurhythm Steam Hot Eye Mask 14 Sheets (No Favor) - (It probably should be "No flavor" since they offer a lavender scented option) solves all these problems. Each mask comes in a sealed package. When the package is opened the mask begins to warm up. You put the mask on for 10 minutes - and the treatment recommended by the opthamologist is complete. The cost is about $1.30/treatment. Reading the description given by Amazon one would never know what this remarkable product does. It might do more - but I don't know Japanese. I figured this out by myself.

Excellent Product

Excellent product! It really makes my eyes relax after a long night reading. I usually use it before the bedtime, and it does help my eyes look good next day in the workplace.
