A handy replacement set for the Swiss Army Knife
By Roger J. Buffington
I always have a Swiss Army Knife around, and one of my favorite features of it is the little tweezers that slip into the handle. These tweezers are amazingly useful for a variety of things. Unfortunately, my family is pretty good at losing them. This inexpensive replacement pack of 6 replacements is great to have around. A real bargain. RJB.

Not quite the same
By Allie Micka
The Victorinox tweezers, as found on your basic $7 Classic keychain knife, is one of the best pair of tweezers you can buy. They are sharp and well-formed, and the square tip comes together for a beautiful, strong and fine grip. You can go to your local beauty store, and until you start spending upwards of $20, you won't find a better (or more compact) pair of tweezers than the ones that come with the Classic.

But these are not the same. The plastic heads vary in size, each fitting differently into the knife's tweezer socket and raising up slightly. This makes the tweezers a catching-hazard, and it's possible that they will snag on something and get lost again. More importantly, the lengths of the, uh, tongs varies wildly and some of the tweezers are noticeably longer on one side. This means that they don't close to a sharp point, and you'll never pick up anything that requires precision.

The good news about inconsistency is that some are better than others. I managed to find one or two that were not so afflicted and that

The bottom line is that these are better than having a sad, empty tweezer socket in your pocket knife. And you'll be glad you got 6 because 5 of them might be useless.

These are not the same quality or fit at the original
By M. Reith
The plastic end is smaller than the original, making removal difficult. The tweezers just aren't effective for things like removing splinters. I work every day treating wounds, so I know how tweezers should work. I was always amazed at the beautiful design of the originals and how perfectly the tips approximated each other. Not one of the batch worked to remove a simple splinter. I suspect that these are chinese knock-offs.
