This scent works wonders!

It's embarrassing to admit to having a body odor problem but it's true, I do. I sweat a lot and with it comes odor. I've tried just about every natural deodorant on the market without success. Within hours, it never fails, I always start to smell. (I should note that most regular antiperspirants don't work for me either.) So when I discovered LAVANILA I was skeptical, but after reading the reviews I decided to give it a try. I started with the Grapefruit scent and was pleasantly surprised! I can go most of the day before having to reapply. I attribute it's success in large part to the scent. I've noticed through trial and error that the baby powder scents of most traditional antiperspirants/deodorants don't mix well with my body's natural odor and they always make me smell worse. The LAVANILA grapefruit scent has a musky odor that I wasn't sure about at first, but have since come to love! Like one reviewer wrote, it doesn't smell quite like vanilla nor does it smell quite like grapefruit, but somehow the combination works. I have tried the other LAVANILA scents and while the passion-fruit is a close second, the grapefruit works the best for me. The only negative I have with LAVANILA is that it's expensive. But when you've found something to control the odor, it's hard to put a price on that!

I Just Hate The Smell

The smell is very very strong and underneath the grapefruit and the hint of vanilla is that awful baby-power musk. I've very sensitive to smells, that's one of the reason I wanted to try this. But it really is unpleasantly strong. I'm going back to my Mitchum unscented. Yech.

Not long lasting

This did not last very long. After I walked to work it needed reapplying and even with reapplying throughout the day, it wasn't effective at covering up the stinky sweaty smell for me.
