Loyal user for over 3 years but they must have changed the formula . . .

I've used Devita's Solar Protective Moisturizer for over 3 years after learning about it from the Environmental Working Group's reviews of skin products. For all this time until my most recent purchase, the moisturizer was perfect. It didn't have any strange odors, it wasn't overly greasy, and most importantly for me, it never left any residue.

My most recent purchase however was a disappointment. The lotion doesn't get fully absorbed and would leave dried flakes on my face especially around my nose and my eyebrows. It also left white streaks that one commonly sees in low-quality sun blocks.

I'm truly bummed because I spent alot of time looking for a good moisturizer with at least an SPF 30 rating that wasn't toxic.

Was good...until they had a change in supplier for an ingredient....

I have used this for at least a year and loved it!!! I recently purchased a new bottle and noticed that the lotion was whiter/thicker in application. I then had a major rosacea flare up!! I called the company that makes it and they confirmed that there had to use a different supplier for a certain ingredient and that made some difference similar to what I was describing. They then told me that it has been worked with and changed to be more like the original and the fixed version is available directly through them and later through other suppliers...however I am now stuck with an expensive tube that has brought back the worst of my rosacea (that I hadn't seen in a good 7 months). I am leery of this product.... just an fyi.

Naturally great for my sensitive and acne-prone skin!

I love this moisturizer/sunscreen! It has broad spectrum protection. I am a redhead, with very fair, sensitive, and acne-prone skin. This product is natural. I was looking to replace my very effective, yet very toxic Neutrogena sunscreen. Check out cosmeticdatabase.com to see how toxic your beauty products are. My skin is healthier in this stuff than it has ever been after years of using Neutrogena. I got this sunscreen at my local Whole Foods. It is expensive, but a little goes a long way.
