Great product

I was using a much more expensive post shaving balm. I use a double edge razor and have sensitive skin. This product just doesn't feel good, but it actually eases and removes any visible irritation right before your eyes.

Remains the best post shave lotion I've used

This product has been and remains one of the best aftershave lotions I have used. It goes on medium weight. But absorbs quickly. Very light refreshing scent. It's holding back my wrinkles too.

Doesn't smell the way it used to...

First let me say I really like American Crew products in general and I used to love this post-shave cooling lotion. I first bought it a year ago in a men's barber shop after they put it on my face after a straight razor shave (great experience btw!) The fragrance smelled manly but not overwhelming, felt great on my face and didn't irritate it (I have sensitive skin) The product lasted me for almost a year, so when I was getting low I came on Amazon and found it here for a great price. I made sure that this was the EXACT same product as I had bought before.

I had read some other reviews on here commenting on how people didn't like the fragrance which baffled me, until of course I got the product... I don't even know how to describe the smell, maybe waxy? I had a little of my old aftershave left and smelled them side-by-side and it's like 2 different products. The aftershave still feels great on my face but I'll never use it because it smells terrible. Do yourself a favor and don't buy this product, there's plenty of other great aftershaves here on Amazon.
