My preferred moisturizer for irritated skin
By I. Peters
I recently gave Toleriane Fluid to a friend who suffers from redness and burning sensations as well as occasional adult acne. Out of fear that a moisturizer would mess up her face even further, she hadn't used any in years. It took some convincing to get her to apply it to her face but frankly, her skin was so miserable-looking (blotchy red) that I just made her do it.
A minor miracle happened - her face not only tolerated the cream but she called me a few weeks later and told me that the Fluid had made her skin calm down and the red flareups were all but gone. This is now the no. 1 item on her wishlist for birthdays and Christmases.
I myself have drier skin and use Toleriane in a different formulation, La Roche-Posay Toleriane Soothing Protective Skincare, Normal to Combination Intolerant Skin 1.35 fl but had the same positive experience. One time I used a moisturizer sample my skin reacted badly to, and the only cream that stopped the resulting burning was Toleriane.
I don't use Toleriane all the time because during the winter I prefer a thicker cream, but for the summer and in skin "emergency situations" this is definitely my go-to cream.

It's the best I've found so far.
By It's A Girl
I have acne prone/very oily skin. For years, I could put about anything on it, and it was a trooper. It took any chemicals without a whimper. I assumed oily skin meant it was the Jet Li of skin types. It could take anything. I was wrong.
Fast forward to current day, my skin has become hypersensitive. I cannot use anything that has benzoyl peroxide, retinol, or anything remotely harsh without breaking out with redness and/or broken capillaries. My dermatologist had said it appeared I had Rosacea. I've tried all different product lines that were made for sensitive skin, but found that they were not made for sensitive/OILY skin. The moisturizers were always too thick and because of my skin's sensitive nature would make it break out.
This moisturizer is VERY light. It didn't sting when I applied it. (That's a true tale tell sign..if it stings, throw it out. I've wasted too much time trying to stick it through with a product thinking it would stop stinging in time.) This moisturizer was good from the get go, and didn't make my oily skin feel heavy. I use it in combination with La Roche Posay's Toleraine foaming cleanser - making it an awesome cleansing/moisturizing pair.

Best Moisturizer for Combination Skin!
By Jodi M Sullivan
I have very fussy skin. It's super sensitive, to the point where even products for sensitive skin make me itch, etc. If I use a regular moisturizer, it's too thick and I break out. If I use a gel, it doesn't moisturize enough so my skin produces extra oil to make up the difference, which makes me break out. This is literally the only moisturizer I have ever found (and I've tried a LOT of products!) that works for my sensitive, combination, fussy skin! It's awesome! It's light and it moisturizes just enough.
