Love this shea butter

I've used shea butter many times but it is pretty expensive. This product however is not. Yes it is unrefined. So that makes it not creamy or nicely scented. But a small amount rubbed in your hand will quickly warm it up. Best to use it before bed. I use it for everything. Worked great even applied to damp hair. But only in the smallest amount and not on the roots. My hair is so soft. l apply to my lips before bedtime, better than chap stick. Use liberally on your feet and put socks on. Yes I will buy this again and from this seller. It arrived before estimated delivery date.

Good Product, but Buyer Beware!

When I received my "16 ounce" tub of shea butter it seemed a bit lightweight and I could see a lot of air voids through the sides of the plastic container. I weighed it with a very accurate digital scale and found that it was not 16 ounces but only 13 ounces and that included the weight of the container. So, I feel that I have been screwed out of about 25% of the product that I paid for.

If I were to rate only the effectiveness of the shea butter, I would probably give it four or five stars. No, it's not a magic bullet for any skin problem but it has helped me with symptoms of winter itch as well as a patch of psoriasis on each of my feet. It seems to be more effective than any of the higher priced and highly refined skin products available in drug stores and supermarkets. I've used this product for only a few weeks now (I started with a 5 ounce tub), so the jury is still out on it's effectiveness. So far, however, I like it.

I do like knowing that my purchase is helping the people of Ghana. I spent a few weeks in that country on company business some years ago and just fell in love with the people and their culture. Despite the poverty, they are surprisingly honest, happy, and healthy. I'm not sure if the tubs of shea butter are packed in Ghana (in which case we should send them a good scale) or whether they're packed in this country (in which case, shame on us).

Hoary for Shea

Rich n creamy texture, immediately notice a difference in my hair made it soft and use it on my feet made rough skin smooth in about 4 days and used it on my blemishes on my face and it started lightening them up.
