Now a mere imitation of what it originally was!

I've been using CB creams for over 4 years now since my daughter has eczema and am quite disgusted by the change in ingredients and refuse to buy anything else from them. They took a perfectly wonderful product and cheapened it with inferior ingredients all to increase their profit margin! UGH!!!! I'd rather make my own version by buying the calendula oil and blending it with olive oil or some other base oil and shea butter!

disappointing changes in the ingredients

I have been using the cream for five years and I was perfectly happy until a couple of months ago when I bought a new box. What a difference - and the smell! It starts pleasing and a few minutes later, all I can smell is something unpleasant, almost "fishy" to me. I compared the ingredients on the new box with those on the old - and they were different! I have no idea why the company did that - to "improve quality" or to increase profit margins, but I will no longer use their product.

For the sake of fairness, I would like (grudgingly!) to change my original rating from one star to three stars! Since I wrote the comments above, I have not been able to find anything on the market that can replace the California Baby cream. Despite the lingering unpleasant smell, it remains the only cream that seems to help my children's rough skin patches.

pure relief!

My 4.5 month old daughter was struggling with bad eczema. Two separate pediatricians prescribed steroids, and they pretty much said that was the only remedy. After doing extensive on-line research, I discovered this product. The Calming Cream, combined with the Calendula Cream, has been wonderful. I have not had to touch the steroid cream again. As long as I keep her skin hydrated with these, she has no flare-ups. I am so happy to be treating her with an all-natural, healthy product!
