Dishpan without microban / triclosan

Originally I was going to buy one of the popular Rubbermaid dishpans on Amazon. Then I saw that they are treated with microban / triclosan. No thanks. I found this Sterilite one and searched around on their website - as far as I can tell it's not treated with microban / triclosan.
The stated dimensions are accurate and represent the outer dimensions. The dishpan would have earned 5 stars from me if it had feet underneath so that water can run through the bottom.

Great foot soak tub

I bought this to soak my feet in after long days on my feet at work. I love it, perfect size! Will more likely buy a second as my 5yr old wants to do the same. She's so cute!

Multi-purpose uses...

I love these dishpans for many reasons. I see my creative ideas are not just my own, but many people out there enjoy the dishpans for cleaning dishes, as a foot soak and as a space organizer too. You can buy a few and test out its multiple uses...
First, for it's original purpose: it is great to use in your sink. It fits perfectly and is good when cleaning silverware, small bowls/containers, cups/glasses, plates and other small items. It's a little small and not as roomy for bigger items. This works great for a double sink or large sink. For small/single sinks, it may require more effort to wash dishes.
For a foot soak: I had two expensive foot tubs in the past, but they were more design than function. I needed something simple & came up with this dishpan. I have big feet. I wear a woman's size 11 and there is a good 2 inches or so of extra room inside the dishpan. I soak my feet and give myself pedicures. The dishpan is easy to use and easy to clean. I love that there are handles, which make carrying it a breeze. Remember, the water will rise once you put your feet in, so since there is no fill line, just make sure you don't fill it up past 1-2 inches from the top (depends on foot size and possibly arch).
For space organizer: these work great for closet or pantry storage. Instead of buying expensive closet organizers, you can buy these and use them the same way. You can store anything from small folded up clothing (tank tops, undies etc) to CD's, packaged snacks, skin care products, hair care products, small electronics etc...you can jazz them up yourself by wrapping them in fabric and hot glue or double-side tape the fabric into place. You can possibly paint them (I haven't tried). Or you can leave them as-is for a modern, fresh look. You can add labels to them or leave them alone. The possibilities are endless for storage and design.
I have found so many different uses for these dishpans, and you can too. I will update later if I think of other uses, but for right now, I am a happy camper! I definitely recommend these dishpans.
